Bakwaas Offer...
ReplyDeleteEtisalat can never come up with a nice offer
Can you explain for me how does this service work? I mean how can we use the free credit and why does it have a valid period? I just don't understand,I subscribed to it but cannot use it.Please help me.
ReplyDeleteWhen you subscribe you will receive an SMS message everytime you make a call that earns you bonus credit. This will happen after you have made AED 30 worth of calls in that month.
ReplyDeleteYour bonus credits last 3 or 10 days depending on your call usage. The extra credit will be available for you to use during that time.
How can I unsubscribe for the service? I find the sms message annoying every time I make a call. It will be ok though if the sms message will not appear. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteHello Eric:
ReplyDeleteThank you for taking the time to tell us about your experience with this service. We will pass on your feedback to the product team and post any updates here on the blog.
Dear in Charge,
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately, I'm Facing the same problem; every time I send sms or call someone I receive an annoying alert, Please update us about the way of Unsubscribing
Regards
Hi,
ReplyDeleteHow to use the free credit accumulated mine is expiring on dec 10 but dont know how to use it before expiring.
Jo
I find the messages after every call or SMS really annoying. Is there a way to turn those off?
ReplyDeleteI think it's sufficient to just notify me once when I get the free credit.
Etisalat does not explain when exactly your free credit is available to use. As long as you have balance in your account this free credit remains accumulated and gets expired in 3 to 10 days. The whole thing looks like a scam.
ReplyDeleteI want to know how to unsubscribe too
ReplyDeletehow can i use this free credit, now i got dhs.5 but, when i call local or international etisalat directly deducting from my normal balance,so how i can dedect my free credit, after three days it will expire then no use
ReplyDeleteI still have 130 dhs on my wasel account.how cna i used my 10 dhs free?it is when i am zero balance on my wasel account?
ReplyDeleteIf I subscribe to this promo (SEND U to 1010), will the local & international call and sms charge/rate be the same as normal? I have noticed that even if I call during off peak hours, the international rate is calculated as peak hour.
ReplyDeleteIt is very much like a scam...have more than 75 dirhams and can't use and when you ask you can't get a clear answer...scandalous
ReplyDeleteANNOYING SERVICE !! AND NOT WORTH IT !!
ReplyDeleteHOW CAN I UNSUBSCRIBE !!!
I find the notification message extremely annoying as well.
ReplyDeleteHow can I use the free credit after all?!
i subscribed to this promo but i've noticed that there's no more off peak rate for my account. it's the same thing i got free credit but normal charges during off peak rate! what's the sense?
ReplyDeletehow to use free credits?
ReplyDeletecan you please explain why every time the message "Dear Customer" appears it seems that a certain amount is deducted from my load. It seems that there is an hidden charges behind this promo.
ReplyDeleteThere is a validity period for the bonus amount!
ReplyDeleteThis is not fair!
What a waste of time. First of all, messages are annoying. more than that no clarity on bonus service. I saw one reply from Etisalt on this. after that he disappeared. I think he understood that estilat is cheating thier customers with fake promotions
ReplyDeletePlease tell us how to unsubscibed with this annoying promo, I do experience the same, the off peak hours should be 1.40aed but since i joined with this promo they charged me 2.40 aed per minute when i call to Philippines. I will shift to DU if you will not going to tell us how to Unsubcribed with this!
ReplyDeleteThe "FREE CREDIT" can only be used once your main credit available is mere 3 dirhams!
ReplyDeleteSo, if your available credit is a lot more than 3 dirhams, then never expect to be able to use the so called "FREE CREDIT" as it will expire within few days, not even a week!
Another so called "promotion" from Etisalat!! This is deceiving!
Read the fine print at http://www.etisalat.ae/index.jsp?lang=en&type=content¤tid=91cd0df50ae7b010VgnVCM1000000c24a8c0____&contentid=720bd346ab84c210VgnVCM1000000c24a8c0RCRD&parentid=91cd0df50ae7b010VgnVCM1000000c24a8c0____ which says:
5- The charges will be deducted first from your main account till your credit balance reaches AED 3, then it will be deducted from the free credit granted to you.
How can I unsubscribe????...this looks like a scam...you can't even checked how much balance you have...Can't even transfer load...I find it also annoying!
ReplyDeleteI am tired of this latest scam from Etisalat! I have over 21 aed of free credit I can not use! I have let my credit run out to see if that would activate the free credit and it just tells me that I can not make any calls because I do not have enough credit in my account. What a RIP OFF!!! And I thought DU was bad! I have changed my mind they are the same! They both rip off their customers! Now we know how they get so rich!
ReplyDeleteDEAR STUPID ETISALAT,
ReplyDeleteI am still awaiting your feedback as per your post dated December 1. In case you forgot, I am reminding you below.

Where are your updates?!?! You just left your customers hanging?!?!?! You are cheating and stealing from them! You charge the normal rate during off-peak hours?!?! you never mentioned this nor put a disclaimer!!!
Ahmed
correct i also agree ..etisalt is cheating by just prometing false offer.
ReplyDeleteplease etisalt wake up..its high time to wake up
how come Etisalat never answered how to use the free credit???
ReplyDeleteSomeone mentioned earlier that it only works after your balance falls below AED 3. I just tried it out and it works. So you will only be able to use Etisalat free credit after your balance falls below AED3.
ReplyDeleteIf you really want to work around this rule, you might be able to transfer your credit to a friend and have them transfer it back to you.
This is a big waste of time.
ReplyDeleteAny way of unsubscribing??
How to unsubscribe from this scam.
ReplyDeleteI'm really confused as well with this promo. I got 10 dhs credit now which is valid only until Jan. 6..how can I use it if I still have enough credit in my mobile that I can use until Jan. 6.
ReplyDeletePlease advise how to use this credit even i still have load..
i would like to know till when my mobile recharge is valid, but dont seem to know how?? please do inform me, since i'm in lebanon now and i'm not using this number but wouldnt like to loose it
ReplyDeleteHello Anonymous:
ReplyDeleteIn general your Wasel prepaid sim card needs to be renewed every year. This can be hard to arrange from outside the UAE. If you are able to receive SMS messages we always suggest customers sign up for online services. Makes managing your account so much easier.
It is easier for us to answer question like this on twitter. You can find us at www.twitter.com/EtisalatUAE
Many thanks
@EtisalatUAE
how to check free balance
ReplyDeleteSend CRW to 1010 to cancel the recharge promotion
