The iPhone 4 requires a special SIM, different from the ones used in other mobile devices. This is called a microSIM. When you buy your iPhone 4 you can choose whether to exchange your current SIM for a microSIM or use the microSIM as a secondary SIM card.

ReplyDeleteVisited 5 times to buy Iphone 4 at Deira HO and Al Tawar to buy device and to subscribe to their plans. At Deira HO always told that Manager is not available and he has the keys. Finally I was told at Al Tawar that they do not have stock. Forced to buy from outside and therefore missed all the goodies of free calls and SMS which they offer in their plan. After two days got Carrefor supplement (9th Dec 2010) which said they are offering the same with Etisalat plan for AED 2399 for cost of device and AED 99 per month as service charges. Bravo Carrefour - Etisalat no care for customers - Manager is the great personality no one dares to challenge his arrival.

ReplyDeleteMy 3GS went into recovery mode two weeks back. Reported to Etisalat and they approved for outlet to replace as it was under warranty. But the outlet is unable to procure as market is out of stock on 3GS. When will Etisalat announce upgrade options for existing 3GS customers to iphone 4?

This is not the correct way of informing people, come up with a plan, be the smart company.
ReplyDeleteRetarded PR work by Etisalat. No regard for customers and treating us like crap. Misinforming, misleading and never answering questions directly. I have been a faithful customer for years and seriously considering switching to du just because of the difficulties faced today trying to get the iphone 4. Rude and unapologetic service face to face, can't even get other branches on the phone and just complete lack of professionalism.
